The end of Browns Talk For the Day

Lets put the Browns game to bed, as I am still in bitter mode. It must be the Steelers. Peter King's lead in his must-read-every-week Monday Morning QB column on si.com is all about how Ben Roethlisberger became a star yesterday. He did, however, have a lot of nice things to say about the Browns, even in defeat. I also think he has developed a man crush on Joshua Cribbs.

In his Fine Fifteen: 9. Cleveland (5-4). Showed me as much in defeat as most teams do in wins.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Cleveland KR Joshua Cribbs. You won't see many better returns not for touchdown than Cribbs' 90-yard, double-stiffarm runback of a kickoff that led to the second Cleveland touchdown in Pittsburgh. The only better return you'll see? The one he tight-roped down the right sideline for a 100-yard touchdown in the second half, which should have been a 3- or 7-yard return after Cribbs flubbed the ball. "That dude was a killer today,'' Pittsburgh's Hines Ward said. On the first return, not only did he elude three Steeler tacklers, but he also repelled another for 10 yards down the left sideline.

Ten Things I Think I Think: 2. I think, regardless of the Browns losing decisively in Pittsburgh on Sunday, they'll still make the playoffs. They'll be favored in at least six of their final seven games --at Baltimore (4-5), Houston (4-5), Arizona (4-5), at Jets (1-8), Buffalo (5-4), at Cincinnati (3-6), San Francisco (2-6). "They're good,'' Hines Ward said by cell phone Sunday night. "And they're going to be good for a while.''

4. I think this is the golden age of return men. Devin Hester's the best, but how much better can he possibly be than Joshua Cribbs?

6. What I didn't like about Week 10. a. Only one negative for Cleveland, aside from the loss: Where's the clutch play by a bunch of rising stars on offense in the second half?

f. Does Jamal Lewis fumble every time he faces the Steelers? It only seems that way. He lost his seventh career fumble against Pittsburgh in 14 career games, helping the Steelers get back in the game Sunday.

I thought the Cleveland Plain Dealer columnists delivered C- efforts this morning. I am a huge Terry Pluto fan, but I wasn't impressed. Same thing for Bud Shaw. Take a look at some of the columns and judge for yourself:

To be True Success, Browns Must Find a Way to Beat the Steelers - Patrick McManomon, Akron Beacon Journal

Days of Growing Pains Shouldn't Cause Panic - Bud Shaw, Cleveland Plain Dealer

QB's Runs Quite a Feat - Terry Pluto, Cleveland Plain Dealer

Second Half Defense Provides Blanket Coverage - Gene Collier, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

I want you all to watch the highlight of the Big Ben TD run. It was third and 10. fast forward to the 2:22 mark of the highlights. Watch Antwann Peek, top of your screen, being completely held as he gets to Big Ben by #74 Willie Colon. If he isnt held, its a sack and they punt. Worst case, a holding is called and its 3rd and 20 at the 40. I'm not making excuses, but this no call was ridiculous.

Antwaan Peek gets held
